- WHO ARE YOUR ART ICONS? There are past icons such as Da Vinci and Michelangelo, Corot, Van Gogh, Degas. Current icons are Salvatore Zoffrea, Paula Rego and Fiona Hall.
- WHO ARE YOUR DESIGN ICONS? Bauhaus, Art Deco.
- IF YOU HAD A TATOO, WHAT WOULD IT BE? WHERE WOULD IT BE? I think I would be too chicken to have a tattoo, but if I did it would be on the side ankle – a rose.
- WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE COLOUR (S)? WHY?
I do not really have a favourite colour – it depends if the colour is on my body – if I am wearing it then it could be black, purple, red and white?? I like colourful too – splashes of colour – purple, pink, indigo blue, bottle green, magenta.

Some monoprints that I created in a printmaking workshop - They are quite abstract and I like them because they were originally experimental works which resulted in quite unique and unpredictable prints. In other words, I imagined something else but because the marks were spontaneous and erratic this worked quite well.
- TELL US ABOUT A REVELATION BREAKTHROUGH IN YOUR PRACTICE
When I visited Umbria in Italy five years ago and painted out in the landscape. I had never painted before in front of such a vast and beautiful landscape. I also did not like painting landscapes.
- WHEN AND HOW DID YOU FIND OUT YOU WERE AN ARTIST? Age 8 to 9 whilst drawing with my uncle who was an artist too.
- WHAT MAKES YOU SMILE? Anything funny!! Usually past experiences where I was laughing so hard that my stomach could burst.
- WHAT QUESTION WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE ASKED? “Can I have your autograph please?”

- WHICH COFFEE? I do not have a particular coffee but I like Lavazza.
- WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO? Painting full time!!!
- WHICH PLACES INSPIRE YOU? Historic sites, small villages in Italy, being near the water inspire me to create but I do not paint water.
- DO YOU COLLECT ANYTHING? TELL US MORE. I used to collect stamps when I was a child, now I seem to collect visual diaries!!!
- WHAT ARE YOU READING NOW? Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
- WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE FLOWERS? Tulips
- AN IDEAL DAY WHERE YOU LIVE. Get up early and go for a long walk along the beach, have breakfast and then go shopping with a friend and finish off with a facial and massage.
- WHAT DO YOU ENJOY ON TV? Not much – I hate reality shows. I only enjoy watching a good movie now and then.
- WHAT INTRIGUES YOU RIGHT NOW? That everyone is caught up with buying the latest technology gadgets even if they do not need them.
- WHAT ARE YOUR BEST DOWNTIME PURSUITS? Gardening, re-potting plants, having a chat and coffee with friends, listening to music or dancing, getting away from Sydney on a weekend.
